Education and Prosperity

Reading history of Cambodia , Under Sihanouk (1953-70) great emphasis was on education (20% of GDP) but not on economy. Consequently Cambodia's educated but unemployed population attracted to communism....

Different combinations of Education and Prosperity and different outcomes

*High Education but Low Prosperity - Communism ( Indian States of Kerala, West Bangal)

*Low Education but High Prosperity - Terrorism ( Indian State of Punjab in 1980's, Kashmir now), Middle East

*High Education and High Prosperity - Fraud and Corruption ( Wall Street )
